To study and earn in LetMeSpeak, your Character needs a valid Visa:
Visa character shows how many days he has left to study and earn money in the application.
When the visa expires, the character can continue to play, however, he will not earn LSTAR and experience.
What to do if the visa expires?
1. The visa can be extended - in this case, the character will again get the opportunity to earn tokens and experience.
To extend your visa, you need to go to the marketplace, then click on your character and then click on the "Renew" button.
The visa can be renewed three times, with each renewal you get 30 days of study under the Learn-and-Earn model.
Renewal fees are charged to LSTAR.

To freeze a visa, you need to go to the marketplace, then click on your character and then click on the "Freeze" button:

The mechanics of a visa is of fundamental importance because it:
- increases motivation to study the language every day;
- ensures the sustainable development of the LeMeSpeak economy.
The time limit indicated on the visa creates a sense of urgency and the fear of missing out. If you didn’t work out on any of the days, the opportunity to earn on that particular day is lost forever. And the total potential earnings are limited by the time frame.
Instant rewards, the desire to get as many rewards as possible and the fear of missing out stimulate a strong desire to learn English. The limited lifecycle of in-game characters is key to the long-term stability of the LeMeSpeak economy.
A visa allows you to predict and manage the influx of new game tokens and balance supply and demand through contributions and financial incentives.
Here's how it works:
Initially, each character has an Visa, it is opened at the time of character creation. The visa is activated automatically after completing the first Learn-and-Earn exercise or with the first invitation (depending on where you start). The duration of a Visa depends on the rarity of the character. For an Uncommon character, the duration of the visa is four months, for legendary characters (Legendary) it is eight months. The visa can be extended for a separate fee.
When a character's visa expires, you can still continue to learn the language, but you will not be able to receive in-game financial rewards until you renew your visa.
